Leadership and Team Development Specialist…and keen outdoor adventurer
Tim is the youngest member of our team but still brings a world of experience. With a background in education and outdoor recreation, Tim has a depth of skills, knowledge and experience working with teams. This allows him to facilitate unique activities, promote change and encourage development on an individual, group and organisational level.
Leading and managing teams in extreme environments around the world has given Tim insight into individual and team performance under pressure as well as the difficulties of leadership in demanding situations. Tim has recently returned from Antarctica having spent 3 months leading small teams on long term projects.
Tim has had the opportunity to work on a variety of team and leadership development programs, utilising his skills in problem solving, team building and adventure activities. He has worked with a range of clients, from executive teams to blue collar staff, in organisations such as Woodside Energy Limited, TRUenergy and Schlumberger Oil. He is very familiar with MBTI and Belbin Team Roles as well as other type indicators. In 2006 he facilitated team building workshops for the Doha Asian Games Organising Committee in Doha, Qatar. This encompassed working with staff from over 50 nationalities, dealing with cultural barriers and language difficulties. His experience working internationally makes him well placed to work with a variety of client groups.
